Using Affirmations in the Morning

There isn’t necessarily a right or wrong way to use affirmations in the morning. The fact that you are showing up for yourself and getting intentional about starting your day on the right foot is what matters.

But in order to find the most success with positive morning affirmations, I recommend making them a consistent part of your daily routine.

Many people have success speaking their favorite affirmations to themselves in front of the mirror when they first wake up. This is a powerful way to get an intentional dose of positivity as soon as the new day begins.

If you aren’t keen on the idea of talking to yourself in front of your mirror, you might want to try writing your favorite affirmations on a sticky note and sticking it to your mirror. Having a positive note staring back at you while you brush your teeth will direct your mind toward positive thinking, rather than any negative self-talk that may creep in during this time of the day.

My favorite way to start a good day is by writing my personal affirmations in my favorite journal. With the right intention, writing positive thoughts and positive words in a journal is a great way create a state of mind that sets you up for a successful day.
