One thing I have noticed in my life coaching is that many people think that “being happy” means never feeling sad or angry. However, it is not possible to go through all of the challenges of daily life without feeling upset, anxious, or frustrated.
But it is possible to make choices that lead to an overall happier life.
Choose your own mantra that you can repeat to yourself often that helps you feel the negative thoughts, but not let them define you. Take some time at the end of the day to write in your journal about all the great things that happened to you throughout the day.
