Mindset Matters

Your mindset matters. The field of positive psychology, and the work of researchers like Carol Dweck, has shown us that the mindset we choose to use shapes how we perceive ourselves and our experiences with the world around us.

A fixed mindset believes that challenges and obstacles should be avoided. People with a fixed mindset believe that failure defines them, and that failing is shameful.

A growth mindset, however, believes that the struggles we face in our relationships, jobs, and lives in general are opportunities for us to grow and develop.

Choosing to work toward developing a growth mindset matters in all areas of your life. The challenges we experience in relationships, work, school, and parenting all have valuable lessons for growth. Choose a growth mindset!
